FATpick v1.5.0 was released on January 15th, 2020.

Visit the downloads page to get the latest version of the FATpick app.

🎁 Notable Enhancements

  • Optimizations were made to the representation of note data used during game play, reducing the memory footprint of the tablature player and providing more consistent performance even in resource-constrained environments.

  • Improved accuracy of the search for cover art during song import.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a resource leak in the tab player that was causing performance degradation and other issues when repeatedly opening and closing the tablature viewer.

  • The playback status of "dead notes" (X) now updates properly with and without detailed timing feedback. Previously the status of dead notes was only updating when “Show Timing Feedback” (in “Gameplay Settings”) was enabled.

  • Some layout problems in the “My Stats” and “Audio Analysis Settings” dialogs when viewed in very wide and very narrow windows have been fixed.

🍬 Other Changes

  • In order to capture upstream bug-fixes, security and performance enhancements, the Electron framework and related dependencies have been upgraded to the 7.1.x series.
