New and Improved Features
MICRO-ADJUSTMENTS TO PLAYHEAD ALIGNMENT
In support of fine-grained audio synchronization adjustments, a new "Playhead Bump" control has been added to the Gameplay Settings menu. Changing this setting will move the playhead slightly left or right to accommodate manual tuning of the note-start timing. This setting is only visible when Show Advanced Options is enabled.
RESTORE FACTORY CONFIGURATION FOR INDIVIDUAL SETTINGS
Many of the controls found in the Gameplay Settings and Audio Analysis Settings menus now include a reset button that will restore the default value of that specific setting (and only that specific setting). This makes it easier to revert individual settings while preserving your customization of related configuration options.
MICROPHONE ACCESS WARNING
Windows privacy and security settings sometimes prevent FATpick from being able to access the microphone or other audio input device. This often manifests as grayed-out media control buttons (play/pause, etc.) in the song player. As this scenario is relatively common, FATpick will now display an explicit warning message when this problem is detected, directing users to this troubleshooting advice.
MY STATS ACCESS RESTORED
Some users encountered an issue in which they were locked out of the My Stats view indefinitely, receiving a "Your account is too new to analyze [...] Play some more songs." message instead, no matter how much time they've spent in the tab player. This issue has been fixed.
CLEAN UP RENDERING ARTIFACTS AT EXTREME ZOOM LEVELS
Previously, when a tab included notes of very short duration or was viewed at an extremely low zoom, minor rendering artifacts could appear near the rounded corners of the note-bubbles. This issue has been fixed.
